One of the big stories earlier in the week was the weak sales at both Trump and O’Reilly events and the angry customers. One customer, whose story we couldn’t verify but it sounded like the type of experience that one would have with this type of even. The person paid $200 for tickets, the event started an hour late, the event lasted 90 minutes, and that included a 20-minute break. Oh, and no matter what the tickets cost originally, because so few sold, the people in the upper bowl paying the least were moved down to the lower bowl beside the people who paid significantly more.

So we heard the ticket sales were terrible.

We didn’t hear how terrible, but now the Orlando Sentinel is all over it with the horrible statistics. By way of the Huffington Post:

Thousands of seats in an Orlando, Florida, arena were empty for former President Donald Trump’s recent “History Tour” appearance with former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly, according to ticket sales tracked by the Orlando Sentinel.

Only 5,406 of 8,700 tickets on sale prior to the event last Sunday at the Amway Center stadium were sold, according to records at the city-owned stadium. The stadium’s total listed capacity did not even include “vast swaths of the upper bowl covered with a tarp before the event started,” the newspaper reported Thursday.

Not only was the upper bowl (supposed to be sold because they sold tickets for the upper bowl) completely tarped over. Not only were people moved down to the lower bowl. But even the seating capacity of the lower bowl was significantly higher than the number of people that showed up?

One wonders if this shows a bit of weakening in MAGA nation? Maybe more just a bit of people getting wiser to the con (but will still enthusiastically vote for him.

Should Kamala Harris Run for President in 2028?

Starting one hour late, huh? Were they out offering people 10 bucks to just show up and sit down for a second for pictures? Makes a person wonder.
