From the looks of it, one can sort of see why Trump was reluctant to get to downtown Houston anyway:
Five minutes before tipoff and this what it looks like around the arena as Trump and O’Reilly prepare to take the stage. Top sections are blocked off. Kind of looking like a Houston Texans crowd. Lots of room to spread out. pic.twitter.com/6edIj19d3B

So obviously there was about as much enthusiasm in Texas to hear Billo’ and Trump talk about themselves and the awful Democrats as there was in Florida. Perhaps this is indicative of a trend. It might not necessarily mean that Trump is less viable as a political candidate. It may mean that the MAGAs are less likely to be taken in on the money front, perhaps they’ve gotten a whiff of the financial con and are just refusing to fall for it any longer.
It would be absolutely outrageous to try to shell out $200 for tickets, only to have one of the participants – the main one – arrive two hours late:
Though the event was scheduled for 3 p.m., Trump didn’t arrive until nearly two hours later, the newspaper reported. O’Reilly explained to the audience that the former president had been delayed by the inclement weather, according to the Chronicle.
A message from a tardy Trump was posted on the Twitter account of his aide Liz Harrington, saying “airport opened, landing now.” There was no notice on airport websites that Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport or the William P. Lobby Airport were closed on Saturday.
Wow, that might convince someone in the crowd that perhaps Trump was less than truthful, perhaps he just didn’t give a sh*t, and was either A) There but too embarrassed to come out and sort of wanted to punish the people in the arena for embarrassing him, that would be pretty typical Trump. Or B) Trump cared so little that he was even late getting to the little jet he rented because his “big beautiful, iconic 757 is sitting in New York state having grass grow under it, needing a new engine and other work?
Regardless, another “concert date” another “Loverboy” audience, and this time Trump was two hours late instead of just one.
Or maybe Trump has a lot on his mind this weekend, what with all his secrets getting spilled last week and no reason to expect that the next week will get any better, except perhaps Congress will take Thursday and Friday off?
Just take a look at this:
O’Reilly & Trump wattlepolooza History Tour in Houston today started 2 hours late “due to rain.”
Scheduled to start at 3:00 pm CST.
Photos at 3:07 pm (around planned start time), at 4:47 (actual start time), and Dan Scavino’s released photoshop of the event at 5:23 pm!
