My god are we ever sick of covering the “Let’s Go Brandon” phenomena and its outcroppings. However, how it has been handled by the Right, from Junior’s 12-year-old giddiness to Stephen Miller’s very serious nuanced analysis below, does deserve our attention because this is now about how the MAGAs message themselves and attempt to “own the libs.”

During the phone call, that same phone call where President Biden was loving and playful with Jared Schmeck’s son, during which Biden heard “Let’s Go Brandon,” Biden had a choice. He could have suddenly gotten defensive and ugly, like the former president. Or, he could have played along, taking all the power out of the clever message, agreeing. Yes! Let’s go Brandon! Referencing the young NASCAR driver.

There is another possibility. Biden might have simply supported the “Let’s Go Brandon” thing because he had no idea what the guy was talking about. Stephen Miller sees this as indicative of a grave concern, below we will demonstrate why it would be the most reassuring takeaway. Miller said:

“To me it reveals something much more insidious. Which is that he doesn’t know about the ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ meme because .. he is completely sheltered and controlled by his staff.”

Well, first of all, fck off, you racist POS, possible suspect in a crime against humanity. But second, Joe Biden happens to be President of the United States during a time in which Omicron threatens to shut the nation down again, inflation is getting worrisome, and Russia seems intent upon invading Ukraine. Thus Biden doesn’t have either the time or the inclination to keep up with the latest MAGA giggle meme.

When President Obama served in office, he said it was critical to ignore what the media is saying, which is different than being unaware of the American people’s real concerns. It is as likely as not that Joe Biden didn’t have any idea what Jared Schmeck was referencing with his “Let’s Go Brandon” thing because only the MAGAs seem to think this is actually something important.

Whereas Donald Trump believed that playing president was a big reality show and obsessed over ratings, which necessitated an awareness as to what the media was saying and the public’s response, Joe Biden did not run for president at his age to put on a show, he ran to deal with reality.

This site suspects that Biden knew the reference and simply refused to react as expected, not giving them the thrill. But if Biden did not know the reference, that’s likely a testament to how seriously Biden takes the job. We can envision a scenario where a staff member tells Biden and Biden gets quite angry, responding “And this should matter to me, why?”

No. His staff is too worried about economic forecasts, Omicron’s impact, and whether Russia is about to start a major war in Eastern Europe.

That is why we voted for him. So, fck you, Stephen. Want to talk about “shielding”? Which president needed the “U.S.S. McCain” covered up, or whose staff ensured that it got done, all to preserve the fee fees of the baby president?:
