Remember Sarah Palin? Yes, she was “the dumb one,” until we fully appreciated what dumb meant. Sarah Palin could speak in complete sentences, even if they made no sense at all. This is a woman who, when asked what she reads with respect to newspapers or periodicals couldn’t come up with the “New York Times,” or the Washington Post, Time, or even People.
The fact that we found someone dumber and made him president is of no issue when it comes to a willingness to look at the stats, listen to people who know what they’re talking about and give reality a chance.
Palin spoke at Turning Point USA, which seems to have a conference every other weekend, which means one thing. This is about making money:
The Republican firebrand made the remarks at “Americafest”, a three-day event in Phoenix, Arizona organized by Turning Point USA, a youth conservative student movement for “freedom, free markets and limited government”.
Ms Palin took to the stage early on Sunday and began by launching into an attack on the US’s top health official Dr Anthony Fauci who has spoken of his support for vaccine mandates. She did so as figures collated by Johns Hopkins University suggest at least 806,000 people have lost their lives to the disease.
Dr. Anthony Fauci finished first in his class at Cornell Medical school. What would he know about a disease?
“So at the time we were led to believe we wouldn’t need to have the shot. Well, then they changed their tune. Those of us who have had Covid, they’re telling us that even though we’ve had it – we have natural immunity – now that we still have to get a shot.”
“In their time,” the greatest scientists on Earth, Newton, Maxwell, Plank believed that time was absolute. There was no possible way to slow down or speed up time. Then Einstein came along and showed it was relative. Einstein thought quantum mechanics was bullsh*t. Schroedinger had a cat. There was new data. Science changes as scientists learn more and more. Science is never “done.” Fauci knows this. Palin does not. There are people alive today because of Fauci. There are people dead today because of Palin and her crowd.
Speaking of which:
She added: “And it’ll be over my dead body that I get a shot. I will not. I won’t do it and they better not touch my kids either.”
In the United States, she has the right to make that decision for her kids, until they turn 18…
Sarah Palin showed up in Phoenix this morning to tell that crowd “it will be over my dead body” that she gets vaccinated. Then she encourages others to “stiffen their spines” and fight back. “There is an empowerment in a group like this where we can kind of feed off each other.” pic.twitter.com/t47oxxrGtB
