We spent a full day yesterday reporting upon the jaw-dropping, press-shattering, and investigation-altering development in the House Select Committee’s work to get to the bottom of January 6th. The Committee put forth a document request so broad and sweeping, to so many departments (eight) including the White House, that the signal was undeniable: “We are going to look under every rock and through any nook, there is no place for you to hide.”

Speaking of rocks and hiding, everyone knows that Trump’s “kids” are some of the key players in every move. Trump is, at his most fundamental level, a mob boss. Why else would he demand his Roy Cohn? Mob bosses trust family more than anyone else and thus family gets some of the worst assignments. The committee seems to know this because they’re coming after the Trump family.

Well, that’s not entirely true, they’re coming after every adult child except Tiffany. Yesterday may have been the first day in her entire life that Tiffany was thrilled to have had almost no communication with her father throughout her life:

So the committee is seeking all documentation with all the adult children, but they except Tiffany, which would be almost laughable were it not for the fact that it doesn’t surprise anyone. It is Donald Trump. The only children he cares about come from the only woman that he may have actually cared about, Ivana.

But again, Tiffany is going to be thrilled to be left out of this family party because things are about to get extremely difficult for the Trump kids and what they knew when. One can bet that Ivanka knew something. We have reports from the book I Alone Can Fix It that Ivanka spent the morning of the 6th walking around whispering “this is wrong, Mike Pence is a good man.” (One can be forgiven for thinking that Ivanka’s whisperings were nothing but image maintenance because if she really believed it to be wrong, she could have said something long before the 6th.)

So, Tiffany, it is great to hear that you are not going to go through some things.
