This is where things stand.

Tennessee is one of the Ground Zero states for increased COVID cases. Most of the hard his states are conveniently tucked into the right-hand southern corner of the United States, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee. We wonder why.

These cases are, for the most part, not regular COVID, either. This is primarily the delta variant, the one that is far more contagious and makes one sicker, including younger people who used to think they were invulnerable.

Now a Tennessee pastor, Greg Locke is doing all he can to make his congregation sicker, perhaps taking some lives while he’s at it. Perhaps his own.

Right-wing pastor Greg Locke said during his weekly sermon at Global Vision Bible Church in Mount Juliet, Tennessee on Sunday that worshippers who show up for [the service] that are wearing masks will be removed from the congregation. This is in spite of a 200 percent surge in COVID-19 cases in the Volunteer State since July 1st thanks to the highly transmissible Delta variant of the coronavirus.

The delta variant is nothing more than a Democratic variant, apparently, to Pastor Locke.

“Don’t believe this Delta variant nonsense.

Did he believe the regular COVID “nonsense” before? How many in his church died? If it is a decent size, we suspect there were a few. Was it a nonsense funeral?

Stop it! I know Right Wing Watch watchin’, I don’t care. If they go through round two and you start showing up (with) all these masks and all this nonsense, I will ask you to leave. I will ask you to leave!

FANTASTIC IDEA! Get them to leave! One won’t need a mask walking outside alone!

We aren’t Right-Wing but we care. Somewhere in that congregation is a ten-year-old kid with a 40-year-old dad who thinks the Pastor knows everything. And if he’s like some other people we’ve reported upon, that kid won’t have a dad in six weeks. It would seem that we can more about this “nonsense” than he does. Ironically, being asked to leave might well save a life. Please, pastor, do ask them to leave.

I am not playing these Democrat games up in this church! If you want to social distance, go to First Baptist Church, but don’t come to this one. I’m done with it! I said I’m done with it! I ain’t playing these stupid games,” Locke hollered into his microphone while he flailed around on the stage.

If you want a 501(c)(3) tax exemption, start acting like a church instead of a GOP rally and we’ll talk. Until then, please, keep asking people to leave your church, including all parents of children. Please? Everyone left? Well, sad. But not as sad.
