Trump still has every single elected Republican in his pocket except for Mitt Romney – who likely has more money than Trump, which makes it easier to say “go to hell” to anyone, along with Adam Kinzinger and Liz Cheney. Anyone who relies upon Republican votes to keep their position absolutely needs to support Trump. Perhaps if your next election is in 2026, you have some leeway, but the point is made.

Other than the elected folks, one quickly runs out of semi-sane, non-flat earther, Big Steal, types. That is okay with Trump, their money is just as green as anyone else’s and Trump will always breathe in support from anyone who supports him.

It just doesn’t leave a lot of impressive names left when one wants to have a real rally. Trump will be sharing the stage with some true wackos when he speaks in Arizona this weekend:

Former President Donald Trump announced guest speakers today for his Saturday rally in Arizona, and most of them share a common trait: they led efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election. The headliner, Kari Lake, who Trump endorsed for Arizona’s gubernatorial race, told OAN she wouldn’t have certified Biden as the victor if she’d been governor.

Of course, she would not. Because it’s not about who gets the most votes it’s about who is supposed to get the most votes. Everyone knows that. The problem being, of course, is that she’s likely telling the truth

State Representative Mark Finchem, Trump’s endorsed candidate to oversee Arizona’s elections as Secretary of State, not only denies the 2020 election result, but attended “Stop the Steal” rallies in January.

Arizona Reps. Paul Gosar, Andy Biggs and Debbie Lesko all voted o Jan. 6 to object to the certification of Joe Biden’s victory. Kelli Ward, chair of Arizona’s Republican Party, pushed the false conspiracy theory that foreign powers manipulated Dominion voting machines to secure Biden’s election victory.

Should Kamala Harris Run for President in 2028?
