Recently, a Tiktok posted by Ted Cruz’s daughter went viral, and in it she talks about all the different aspects of being Ted Cruz’s daughter, both the good and the bad. Some of the good things she lists in her video are that she enjoys the fact that her father’s supporters often send candy and gifts in the mail, as well as the fact that she gets to travel.
On the other hand, however, she said that, “Some of the bad things are, I literally have to have security following me everywhere.” Later, she went on to add another annoyance: “Also, a lot of people judge me based upon him at first glance, but I really disagree with most of his views.”
The section of the video that first caught the public’s attention is when she admits that in this years family Christmas photo, which they sent to all of her father’s supporters, her shirt was edited to cover more than it actually did in real life. Showing a picture of herself in the original crop top, she said in the video, “On the Christmas card, they literally made my shirt longer.”
In the short video, she also goes into detail about the level of security that she endures, explaining that, “Like, if I want to go on a walk through the neighborhood, like to my friend’s house or something, I have to have, like, two security guards behind me the entire time.”

Between having two guards behind her on a casual walk, or having her family alter her clothing to make it more conservative-appropriate, it’s interesting to see how people’s perspectives can be changed now that so many people have access to social media, and can finally hear not just what Ted Cruz has to say in the news, but the behind the scenes from his daughter as well.
And never forget, this girl is a winner:
