In one of the oddest moments of the most reprehensible administration in history, the president of the United States, upon being asked about someone arrested for offering up teens to a monster, gave a most unpresidential answer: “I wish her well.”

What?

The President sits atop the Justice Department, which also controls the FBI, the two entities involved in Maxwell’s arrest. Since when does a president grant his good wishes to the target of an investigation by his own administration? Especially a woman targeted for these types of crimes, crimes that a jury now says she committed beyond a reasonable doubt. Does he still wish her well?

There were reports (of varying trustworthiness) coming out of Mar-a-Lago, stating that Trump was terrified about whether Ghislaine had been talking about him. Though it would be almost impossible to confirm such reports, they do not sound far-fetched given that there are seemingly hundreds of photographs of Trump and Ghislaine (with Epstein), there are hundreds of rumors about Trump’s forays with Epstein, and Trump is known to be paranoid anyway. Remember, there isn’t a person on earth whose life depends upon secrecy more than Donald Trump.

Given all the changes the MAGAs have made to laws and Secretaries of State, there is a terribly decent chance that Trump could win again in 2024. Would a future president Trump pardon a Ghislaine Maxwell? Remember, he talked about it before, according to Business Insider:

Donald Trump took a “sudden interest” in Ghislaine Maxwell’s case as he was considering who to pardon in the final week of his presidency, journalist Michael Wolff alleges in a new book.

It would probably depend upon whether Maxwell thought she was in a position to make a deal or not. Epstein might have proposed a deal and didn’t survive to make it (We fully acknowledge that the official cause of death was listed as suicide and there is no public evidence to suggest otherwise. But one would have to be embarrassingly naive to not at least acknowledge that there are teams on this earth that specialize in setting up difficult situations such as the one above.

Ghislaine might believe she can’t make a deal. She must suffer the consequences. Still, a lot of people are talking about the very odd answer Trump gave regarding Ghislaine and what the verdict might mean for both their futures.`

A guy who might be sending her a signal?

And below is exactly what Trump is worried about and remember, the case was brought by a special section of SDNY, the public corruption section. Ghislaine may only be their first target.

MAGAs seem to think we’d be bothered if Bill Clinton was named, which says a lot about the MAGAs. If Bill Clinton abused a child, he should face consequences. We would demand it. Wouldn’t they? If Trump was accused?

Below, Bachman is an independent journalist, her word can be taken as if it was the New York Times:

It is all speculation for now, but it would seem as though Ghislaine is in a tough situation. She may not enjoy prison (no one does), but would she enjoy a deal by which she gives up a lot of names outside of prison? That would be one difficult witness protection program issue.
