Parents, please – be smart enough to raise your daughters as white girls, please? And not black, okay? It is fairly simple.
That would seem to be the message that Brigitte Gabriel is expressing when she tells her followers to raise their daughters to be like Melania Trump and not Michelle Obama.
Rather than rip on Melania Trump – which we could do for the next two days with breaks only for meals, let’s instead talk about what it would be like to have a daughter grow up to be a modern Michelle Obama.
Michelle Obama came from modest means and the trip to and from her high school in Chicago took three hours because she was determined to graduate from Chicago’s first magnet school. From there, she earned a scholarship to Princeton University, where she graduated cum laude in sociology and African American studies. She did well enough at Princeton that she was accepted to Harvard law, and that’s not exactly easy. Never mind graduating, which she did.
All of that sounds pretty good without then hearing that she first got a job at a prestigious firm, but left to join the University of Chicago law school’s student services while helping Barack’s political career.
Speaking of politics, Michelle managed to keep herself largely out of it, at least from her end, while Barak was in politics. She poured herself into getting kids to exercise and eat healthier, who could possibly be against such wonderful goals and priorities? We know who.
Meanwhile, she married a good man, one who seems genuinely in love with her, and when they appear together, they appear to be just two good friends talking. This couple then raised two stunningly beautiful young women, one is at Harvard and the other at the University of Michigan, both seem healthy and well developed…
Melania has lived in the United States for over 20 years and her footprint is… next to nothing. She buys shoes that cost more than Michelle would spend on a car (okay, exaggeration). We said we would not rip on Melania. We won’t.
So, how about this: Parents, raise your daughters to be like Michelle Obama? We don’t need to add a villain.
There really is no excuse or explanation for this other than racism and just pure politics:
Raise your daughters to be like Melania Trump not Michelle Obama.

I rather raise my daughter to be an attorney than a golddigger, but that's just me. https://t.co/6pqVbaEJzG

So, you favor raising lying, two bit, sleazy, illegal alien escorts? Gotcha. Sounds about right, given your own level of sleaze

Ewwww, hell no. My daughter holds a bachelors, a masters and is saving your sorry lives from this pandemic. She’s brilliant, loves Michelle and just so happens to be beautiful too.

Please tell me that @ACTBrigitte does not have a daughter, because that was one of the most disturbing suggestions I’ve heard in a long time.
