We were told just two days ago that Elon Musk is the richest man in the world, worth over $300 billion dollars (Which, you just know drives Mark Zuckerberg crazy and that kinda feels good), and we were told that somehow Musk earned Time’s Person of the Year Award. Don’t blame us, this author’s Substack account named Mike Pence Person of the year, for the simple reason that without Mike Pence, we’d still have “President Trump” right now instead of that retiree down in Florida.
Granted, both Time Magazine and this site chose assh*les. But we didn’t take the coward’s way out and avoid THE political story of the year, the thing that is driving our low vaccination rate, the thing that keeps our polarized country more polarized, all that. They just chose the rich guy who did rich things, like launch shit into space.
We will admit, Musk might be the greatest visionary since Tesla himself, and Musk is as rich as Edison, who made his money by stealing Tesla’s engineering. And it is the rich part that bothers Senator Warren, who is offended by the notion that poor writers who make less than $50K a year pay more in taxes than the richest man in the world.
Sen. Warren said:
“Let’s change the rigged tax code so The Person of the Year will actually pay taxes and stop freeloading off everyone else,” Warren tweeted with a link to a story about Musk being named Time Magazine’s 2021 person of the year.

And, of course, Musk couldn’t just let it go, like an adult, or even say “Sen. Warren has a point, but I do not freeload,” or something. Instead, he went for the cheap shot. Musk was so bothered that he put up three tweets, the first one was a reference to the debunked Native American heritage thing, the “Stop projecting.” But the next two were more interesting.
“Stop projecting. You remind me of when I was a kid and my friend’s angry Mom would just randomly yell at everyone for no reason. Please don’t call the manager on me, Senator Karen.”
Please don’t call the manager on me, Senator Karen 🙏

JFC, Elon, maybe you’re not as smart as everyone thinks. Sen. Warren is not just randomly yelling for no reason, this has been Sen. Warren’s cause for her entire time in the Senate. Second, she doesn’t need to call the manager because she fcking is the manager! She is a member of the United States Senate, one of the bodies that set the tax rates, you f’ing moron.
We have seen tweets from Republicans saying that Musk has given more to this country than he’s ever taken.
As they say down south when not understanding something, “Do what now?” Yes, Musk has given this country a lot. So has this internet site, so does every teacher, so does every doctor, and Musk has given a great deal, but he doesn’t seem to be giving his services away for free!! So why does he get to walk away tax free but not us?
Let’s pretend we took 90% of Musk’s fortune away in taxes. That would provide the United States $270 billion – a significant amount of stimulus check money, and still leave Musk $30 billion!!! Is someone going to try to tell us that Karen Musk can’t get by on $30 billion?
Shut up, Elon, just STFU.
