Let’s consider how much Trump’s world has changed in just the last week to ten days because it is significantly different than what he expected, significantly worse, and getting much harder for his loyalists in Congress to defend him. It is right out in the open, Trump at one point considered ordering the National Guard to seize all voting precincts, all ballots, all vote casting machines, everything.

Donald Trump lost his critical privilege appeal in the DC Court of Appeals to assert executive privilege over his records in the national archives, which would contain logbooks, calls (what if people in the White House were talking to rioters? Who did the White House speak to in Congress?) and takes away any administration official’s claim of privilege, including Mark Meadows. Trump lost so decisively that there is no reason to believe that the SCOTUS will take up the case, indeed it is more likely than not that they simply let it stand, in this site’s opinion.

Mark Meadows forwarded records that are just stunning. They demonstrate that the administration wasn’t the least bit concerned regarding whether there was any evidence as to Chinese interference, or any other theory as to why the election was fraudulent, only whether they could claim interference and get away with it.

The records show that Trump had called the National Guard to be ready… to protect Trump supporters. Most damning, so far, the records show that everyone with a voice texted Meadows to tell Trump to call off the descent upon the Capitol, that it had gone too far, and Trump went hours before he said anything. He put so many lives at risk and indeed is likely responsible for the loss of some lives and a lot of injuries.

His world has changed significantly, but he now also knows it’s going to get much worse and it’s going to just be that much harder for his “pals” in office to defend him. Indeed, many will be too busy defending themselves and blaming him.

NO one knows this better than his former communications director, Stephanie Grisham, as she assured us today:

Should Kamala Harris Run for President in 2028?
