You would be shocked at how difficult it is to determine how many people participated on January 6th. In fact, in researching the matter, no one has ever really put out a number on the figure. The best that we could find is that with respect to the speech itself, the number is closer to 10,000 than 100,000, and with respect to the number that descended upon the Capitol itself? Ten thousand is the absolute upper limit and likely far less.

Why does this matter? It goes to show that a small minority of people are willing to do whatever they perceive to be their duty under Trump. We have heard it from defendants in the riot trials, “We believed that Trump, the president, ordered it.”

Now that is just the number that could get to Washington just after the holidays in a short time at the beginning of this year. It is hard to grapple with the number of people out there around the country who are willing to “do away” with the person that they see as an “illegitimate” president in the first place. We seriously doubt there’s ever been a president that faces the threat that President Biden faces.

Trump’s people have already violently tried to prevent President Biden from taking office. There are likely many that want a chance to “make Trump happy” by doing away with Trump’s “worst enemy.”” . And that is what makes this tweet below just so unforgivable. Of course, it comes from a Trump.

The implication is clear. One way or another, Joe Biden will die in office. “Too true,” Eric says. Reveling in anyone’s death is pretty sick. But then again, we’re talking about Eric Trump. But with Trump’s followers, it is also truly dangerous.
