On January 6th, among the many of those arrested after the riot at the Capitol, Josiah Kenyon was charged with assau1ting a police officer. Though he and his family tried to hide after this incident, Kenyon, his wife, and his children were recently found living an unheated trailer in the Nevada wilderness.

A picture was captured of Kenyon at the riots, dressed up as Jack Skellington from “A Nightmare Before Christmas”, sporting a red “Make America Great Again” hat, and most importantly, vi0lently throwing a large piece of plastic. Despite his aggressive personality and his apparent desire to rebel, he has since retreated to the edge of civilization, living with his family in a remote, uncivilized part of the Nevada mountains.

36 year old Kenyon was charged both with assau1ting a police officer as well as unlawfully entering the Capitol back on January 6. Along with throwing the “large, hard plastic nylon”, he is also reported to have att*cked several officers with “a table leg with a protruding nail.” After that day, he was nowhere to be found until law enforcement stumbled upon his wife and children in the unheated trailer on December 1st.

Kenyon tried to tell officers that he and his family would leave the premises after arriving on the scene in his camouflage Ford Sedan, according to KOLO. While he did get to leave, he did not retreat a free man, as both him and his wife were arrested on charges of child endangerment.

No comment has been made about the arrest by the Washoe County Sherrif’s Office. The situation the family was found in was quite extreme as temperatures can drop significantly below freezing during the winter near Lake Tahoe, where Kenyon’s children were found. On top of this, two different g*ns were found in Kenyon’s car.
