No one needed further insight into the fact that James and Jennifer Crumbley, the parents of Michigan school shooter, 15-year-old Ethan Crumbley, were just awful people. They bought their 15-year-old son a handgun just days after admitting to having problems at school and then left that 15 year old (debatable on how hard one should be on a 15-year-old), a child, in jail while they ran for Canada.

We are talking about terrible people.

But James Crumbley’s former girlfriend is the mother of his eldest son and she absolutely assures us that both James and Jennifer are at least as bad as we suspected, perhaps more. In an interview with Detroit radio station, Michelle Cobb assured us that James Crumbley is a “piece of sh*t” and wife Jennifer is a “monster.”

“Jennifer was a monster. She could do no wrong and she was right about everything. I mean, this is exactly the kind of attitude she has. Like, she, literally, thought she was better than everyone.

Michelle had no trouble believing that the couple would buy Ethan a handgun for his birthday, “They pretty much gave him whatever he wanted. Why would you let a 15-year-old have access, especially knowing that just a few days prior that he was having problems at school?

“I hope they get the maximum, honestly, all of them. They deserve it. They need to be held accountable for what their child did. They need to have a reality check.”

The reality is that there are kids dead now, several still hospitalized, because a very disturbed child – and, we can’t emphasize this enough, no matter how horrific the crime, we’re still talking about a child – had two parents so irresponsible as to play a key role in the deaths. They should bear at least as big a burden if not more.

We at this site aren’t even sure whether one should try a troubled 15-year-old as an adult and are holding off on how much to put on Ethan (T. But there is no question that the Crumbleys really are monsters.

No parent… no non-MAGA gun worshipping parent or parent that knows their child is having troubles, would buy their child a handgun, and no parent would then abandon that child – obviously sick, obviously sick, to sit in a jail cell, unlikely to truly comprehend the enormity of what he had done.
