Thousands of British, French and German soldiers, exhausted by the unprecedented slaughter of the previous five months, left their trenches and met the enemy in No Man’s Land, exchanging gifts, food and stories.

But now, amidst what used to be considered a time of peace and reflection over the last year, and hopes for a new one, the MAGA mindset has changed. As we have said before, you simply cannot be a MAGA these days without an assault rifle, which – we repeat over and over in our reports, is a machine meant for war.

These are not double barrel sporting shotguns for quail or clay pigeons. They are not .270s, to harvest venison or elk. No, these guns were specifically designed to shoot large rounds at a much higher velocity, to break more bone and tear more muscle, to put a human body down that will never get up, as many as possible, as fast as possible, something only needed amidst a war.

One cannot be a MAGA without these weapons.

Keep all the above in mind when looking at the tweet sent out by Rep. Massie, a MAGA from Kentucky:

No one at this site has any sort of expert knowledge in weapons. We do know enough that Rep. Massie is holding something beyond the normal AR-15 and the rest seem to be holding assault rifles of some kind.

We ask why? Except the answer is obvious. They are MAGAs and the AR-15 is as fundamental to their new religion as a cross is to Christianity and that is not hyperbole. It is actually scary AF if one thinks about conflicts ever breaking out in this country.
