Ugh. UGH.

Look, we knew that Sylvester Stallone was MAGA. There are photos of him in the Oval Office with Trump, as well as photos of him attending events at Mar-a-Lago, including Trump’s famous New Year’s Eve party.

But this? This was unexpected. And quite disappointing.

According to Newsweek, Stallone shared a picture of himself wearing a hat with the letter “Q” on it, captioning the selfie with a phrase closely linked to the QAnon conspiracy theory.

Sly uploaded the photo to Instagram, where he has more than 14.3 million followers, with the caption: “Heading into the Storm….”

By now you know what QAnon believes, that Democrats run some high-end cabal that eats babies to stay young. Or something like that. The phrase “the Storm” is the moment when said Democrats will be arrested and ex*cuted on the orders of Donald Trump, who is seen as a savior-like figure.

Of course “The Storm” was supposed to have happened years ago. Each time an expected date passes, Q freaks just make up some reason it didn’t happen and push the date back. The fact that Trump isn’t president anymore, and therefore can’t arrest the baby eaters, apparently doesn’t hinder these conspiracy theorists from still believing it will happen. Ugh. It’s so exhausting.

One QAnon Telegram account using the handle Truth Hammer wrote, “Check out that hat and that caption. Stallone knows.” Another that goes by the handle Pepe Lives Matter said, “What kind of hat is that? Stallone with an interesting photo.” Still, some users on Instagram questioned why Stallone would support QAnon in the first place, saying, “Seriously, is my childhood hero going QAnon? Say it ain’t so!”

Some people on Twitter thought perhaps Stallone was a witness. Truly insane:

And the sad thing is, today is the anniversary of the release of Stallone’s most famous piece of work, Rocky. An incredible movie. It’s sad to see how far Stallone has fallen:
