This weekend saw the release of two new memos, one from Jenna Ellis and much of it confirms what many of us have suspected for some time – and some of us, including this site, wrote about last August – the entire Trump plan for “winning” on January 6th went through Mike Pence, either nicely or not so nicely.

Trump’s team had to get around the Electoral College, which clearly demonstrated that Biden won the election. The only way around the Electoral College was to find a way to kick out enough E.C. votes to make it such that neither candidate had 271, thus sending the election to the House of Representatives.

New emails now available from ABC News show Jenna Ellis (Yes, her again), wrote a memo outlining one plan:

The memo said that Pence would give the states a deadline of “7pm eastern standard time on January 15th” to send back a new set of votes, according to Karl.

This is almost comical. “Yeah, send the right votes! The ones for Trump!” But it didn’t end there:

Then, Ellis wrote, if any state legislature missed that deadline, “no electoral votes can be opened and counted from that state.”

Such a scenario would leave neither Biden nor Trump with a majority of votes, Ellis wrote, which would mean “Congress shall vote by state delegation” — which, Ellis said, would in turn lead to Trump being declared the winner due to Republicans controlling the majority of state delegations with 26.

Yes, this very website outlined the exact same plan last August, saying it would be the Trump plan of last resort. What we didn’t know is how far the Trump team was willing to go to ensure that Pence couldn’t count those votes.

Trump put as much pressure on Pence as he possibly could, telling the Georgia crowd:

“I hope Mike Pence comes through for us. I have to tell you I hope that our great vice president comes through for us. He’s a great guy. Of course, if he doesn’t come through, I won’t like him quite as much.”

But that was nothing compared to the morning of January 6th when Trump called Pence and said: “You can be a patriot or you can be a p****.” Trump told ABC that he doesn’t dispute the call.

He also said that he would never forgive Pence and he said it in a hilarious Trumpian way: “I don’t know. Because I picked him. I like him, I still like him, but I don’t know that I can forgive him.”

How Trumpian! I picked him, and I never do anything wrong, so that was perfect and I like him. But, no, I will never forgive him for not overthrowing the election.

The entire conspiracy – especially with Bannon’s transcripts published here yesterday, is coming clearly into focus. Either Pence would change his mind and send the Electoral College votes back to the states, or the crowds would get so out of hand and threaten everyone safety such that the Secret Service had to rush Pence off, not allowing him to carry out his duties, sending the election to the House of Representatives.

It is all becoming clear and the House subcommittee will make it even clearer. Mark Meadows, the man who surely knew it all, is the next one up to face obeying a subpoena or being charged with a felony.
