If you haven’t heard already, Jonathon Karl from ABC News is soon releasing a book called “Betrayal”, focusing on former president Donald Trump, and his final weeks as president. As a sneak peek, Karl has released audio of an interview he did with Trump to help him write that book. In the short audio clips Trump says some interesting things, but the most interesting is what he refuses to say.

The excerpt that was released pertains to Mike Pence, who was Vice President during Trump’s time in office. Recently, the relationship between the two has deteriorated. The simple reason for that break in their relationship is that when Pence disagreed with Trump about overturning the election, Trump and his followers verbally attacked Pence, as they do to anyone who ever dares to contradict them.

The video containing the audio clip is below, but the short version is that Trump was asked if he called Mike Pence a “p*ssy” for not helping to overturn the election. In reply, Trump said he would not dispute the rumor, therefore admitting that he had in fact harassed his own Vice President for refusing to make false claims about the election to the public. (And for the record, we are not saying “pissy”.

Karl’s book will contain the information from this interview and more. There will be reports in the book from Jenna Ellis, who was Trump’s former lawyer. The memo’s written up by Ellis that will be revealed in Karl’s “Betrayal” will show the plans that Trump’s team had wanted Pence to use to overturn the 2020 election.

The fact that Trump says he “wouldn’t dispute it” when asked if he had personally called Pence a p*ssy show that his vile attitude extends beyond the shadow of the public eye and into his private life. Those who challenge Trump or even vary from what he wants risk not just public humiliation, but harassment in their workplace as well.
