Newsmax’s Greg Kelly is a pretty angry guy. I don’t know what got him started down the road of Righteously Indignant News Guy™ but lately, he seems to be taking it all out on Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.

It started off with Greg, I believe, being angry that Pete and his husband Chasten even deciding to have kids in the first place. I grew up in a conservative town and a buttoned-up church, and the idea of gay men having kids, well — it really gets under the skin of Greg Kelly types.

But then last month, when we found out that Pete was going to take some well-deserved parental leave to be with his newborns, Greg lost it all over again.

People on the other side are talking about it as well because Pete Buttigieg is a man and so is his husband. They did not have to have these kids now. They’re not up against any biological clock. Let’s be real here, all right? This is a big job. The biggest that Pete Buttigieg has ever had. And now he decides to take the leave, have the kid. He doesn’t have to do it.

So, still mad about Pete being gay? Check. Mad that Pete gets to decide when to have kids? Check. Mad that Pete is taking time off to be with those kids? Check, check, and check.

Now Greg wants to know how Pete “gets away with” all of this, you know, having a relationship and family while also having children thing.

How does he get away with all this? I mean, why him? Why does he even have a cabinet job?

Greg says it’s because Pete is gay.

Kelly then goes on to insist that it’s not him saying that Pete being gay is bad, but just look at how many other people mention how gayingly gay the obviously gay Pete Buttigay is:

The New York Times, the Washington Post, Politico, all of them, they could not stop writing about this guy being gay … Being gay, I mean, it’s almost like a full-time job.

Then Greg adds the obligatory, hey remember when Trump had the first gay guy in the White House spiel, but at this point, he’s basically frothing at the mouth.

Either Greg was really neglected as a kid, or he’s got something he’d like to tell us.
