I was admittedly not paying much attention when that whole “Let’s Go Brandon,” seemed to come out of nowhere and become popular. This is because GOPers spout so much mierda that it’s 1.) sometimes challenging to keep up with, and 2.), often not worth one’s time. So because I was not familiar with the “Brandon” bologna I had to do a little research.

So, for the unfamiliar, I’ll provide a quick recap: Apparently, in early October NASCAR driver Brandon Brown was in the midst of an interview with NBC sports reporter Kelli Stavast at the Talladega Superspeedway in early October when the crowd suddenly started chanting noisily “f*ck Joe Biden.” But Kelli didn’t hear it that way. She heard “let’s go Brandon.” Because (haha) she was talking to a dude named Brandon.

And thus a whole new era of GOP stupidity was born, and who better to promote this than the GOP’s Queen of Stupidity, Lauren Boebert?

She decided to celebrate Republican Glenn Youngkin’s winning the Virginia Governor’s race over Democrat Terry McAuliffe by going to that reservoir of Republican ridiculousness, Twitter. She posted a photo of herself standing next to the most recent loser of the 2020 presidential election. In the photo Boebert is wearing a red dress with “Let’s Go Brandon” splashed on the back.

“It’s not a phrase, it’s not a movement! #LGB,” she tweeted Thursday.

If you think the dress looks reminiscent of the one Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY)  wore to the Met Gala, you’d be right. And it very much looks like Boebert was mocking AOC’s dress. On Friday, Boebert’s office told Fox News that she posed with Trump at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida earlier this week. I’m guessing Boebert has a serious case of AOC envy.

The Colorado Republican Congresswoman apparently posed with anyone who wanted a photo and the Twitterati responded with resplendent mockery in the way that only folks on Twitter can do.
