It is not hard to distract Trump. It is not like his weaknesses haven’t been known for… 50 years. Indeed, he advertises his weaknesses. He cares about money, exclusively, until he thinks he can get some woman, however disgustingly he wants, and he’ll set aside his money obsession for what we’re sure can’t be more than a minute or two, and then get right back to money.
This weakness was not lost on Vladimir Putin, according to Stephanie Grisham in her new book “I’ll Take Your Questions Now.”
According to excerpts in the New York Times from an early copy of the book, Grisham writes that “as the meeting began, Fiona Hill leaned over and asked me if I had noticed Putin’s translator, who was a very attractive brunette woman with long hair, a pretty face, and a wonderful figure. She proceeded to tell me that she suspected the woman had been selected by Putin specifically to distract our president.”
Putin is known for making plays like that in one-on-ones with foreign leaders. In a meeting with former German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Putin brought a massive black Labrador. Merkel has had a fear of dogs since one attacked her in 1995.
He could have brought a basket of those bank bundled $100 bills, you know the $10,000 dollar ones? And just sat a woman in a bikini to play with the money, all while the two of them talked. Of course, the beautiful woman might also be representative of what Putin has over Trump already. To be sure, it really isn’t hard to distract Trump, some Kentucky Fried Chicken or a new putter might do almost as well… no, a woman every time, every single time.
Actually, Putin could have brought the same dog and the beautiful woman and Trump would’ve been completely confused throughout the discussion.
Who are e kidding, Trump was going to be entirely confused through the discussion anyway. Putin is a masterfully trained KGB agent, Trump is Trump. He never had a chance.
