We have heard plenty of details from plenty of “tell-all” books already, some far better than others, but all sounding completely plausible. Now we’re about to get news from the only employee that worked directly under both Donald and Melania Trump, and in both jobs as a communications strategist. If there was an employee who would know details from behind the scenes, Stephanie Grisham, the author of the forthcoming: I’ll Take Your Questions Now and subtitled: “What I Saw in the Trump White House,” would be the one. Too bad she likely doesn’t know the stuff that might go back 25 years.

People magazine says that Grisham included a lot of stuff that hasn’t been heard before. Another source said:

“She knows where all the bodies are buried and she has a shovel,” the source says, calling the book “a memoir of her time in the White House in the unusual position of being the only person to serve both the president and the first lady at the same time.”

Okay, but does she want to use it? And define “all,” because what we want to know is whether Russia has financial leverage over Trump. We also want to know how much leverage Melania has, total? Grisham would be well placed to know if Melania got everything she asked for. It is weird she would want to “talk” now, given she sure did not when on the job:

Grisham, who did not comment to PEOPLE, made a bit of history in 2019 when she was named both the White House’s press secretary and communications director in addition to continuing in her role as communications director for the first lady. No aide had ever held all three titles simultaneously.

In early 2020, she returned to the East Wing as Mrs. Trump’s chief of staff and spokeswoman. During her tenure, Grisham, who first worked with the Trumps on the 2016 campaign, was criticized for her lack of briefings and made headlines for her often sharped-tongue defenses of the first lady — including speaking out about comedians, other White House aides and Trump detractors

Ah yes, well, if one is going to work for a Trump one has to reject any and all criticism, vehemently, disdainfully, never mind working for two Trumps. Still, we suspect we’re going to hear mostly gossip and a lot of stuff about other employees, perhaps some sharp shit about Ivanka. We always heard that Ivanka and Melania didn’t get along. We will find out, if Grisham is serious.

It seems almost guaranteed to be protective of Melania and damning of her opponents. We will find out.
