We have already done a story today regarding the fact that President Biden gave 11 prominent Trump appointees until midnight to resign their posts on military academy boards or, alternatively, get terminated, or “fired” by President Biden.
One would think that with just about any sort of “mostly ceremonial” role, one simply decides to abide by the President (even if it is Trump) and just resign rather than fight the federal government.
In our earlier report, we described the job as ceremonial or cushy. But we continued to do some research because it piqued our interest. It is a cushy role for Kellyanne, Sean Spicer, and several other Trump insiders, but those posts used to be held by specialists, experts, and researchers, and so we have to correct ourselves somewhat.
This is surely why Biden chose to fire them, or at least a big part of it. The boards required expert input.
Kellanne must think she is an expert.
Regardless, the appointment is for a three-year term, and Kellyanne says it is a sudden departure from presidential norms to fire her.
She believes the terminations are petty, personal, and meant to distract from the news of the day, which is just so rich coming from Kellyanne.
Is there anything about Trump that wasn’t personal or petty? Was there a bottom to Trump’s pettiness?
Was there a bottom as to what Kellyanne would defend? The alternative facts statement alone would be enough to disqualify near anyone from the position.
The directorship of the FBI is a ten-year term and firing Comey was certainly a departure from presidential norms, especially when the president is the one being investigated. So, let’s compare, the directorship of the FBI, while being investigated (which Kellyanne surely defended). or a “petty and personal” departure from presidential norms to reassert actual experts to the positions to the boards of the military academies? Is there a comparison?
Tell us, Kellyanne:
