There are a lot of us men that are a bit uneasy about abortion, but that’s precisely the problem. We are not women, we will never have to walk in the body of someone who should control her body. As a man, one can focus almost solely upon the biology of things, instead of the personal nature of things. We also know that there have been very few women that were not somewhat emotionally scarred by an abortion.

That doesn’t make us pro-life, not at all! Indeed, some of us are the fiercest fighters for a woman’s right to choose primarily because we are not a woman and will never face that choice. Moreover, as if this need even be said, we are not teen girls, who have even fewer choices than women, none, except an abortion.

Too often teen girls are preyed upon by older men, whether a few years older or a lot older, even family, and the problem is the girl’s alone – emphasis on “girl.” If men could somehow get pregnant or were legally bound to bring up the child on their own, an abortion would be written into the Constitution.

Joe Biden understands this better than anyone. Joe Biden is a strict Catholic and his faith teaches him that abortion is always wrong, even the teen girl who might have been abused. But Joe Biden is even stricter with respect to his oath to the Constitution and isn’t about to put his own personal religious faith over the faith in a women’s right to choose what is best for her.

Thus it was that when a male reporter was stupid enough to ask Jen Psaki a question today about how Biden deals with what – to the man – seems like a paradox, Psaki spanked him, hard. She made it personal which is rare to non-existent in the press room:

PSAKI: President Biden believes that it’s a woman’s right, it’s a woman’s body, and it’s her choice. I know you’ve never faced those choices, nor have you ever been pregnant.
