Let’s all ask a question together: Why did Trump originally push hydroxychloroquine – the active ingredient found in Ivermectin? Ivermectin is an anti-parasite most often used in malaria and far more often used to de-worm cows and horses, which can be picked up at a feed store, similar to when you get your flea and tick medicine at Walmart for $40. Why’d he push it?
There are two answers and they are not mutually exclusive. One, Trump wanted a magic cure that would make the entire epidemic go away over two weeks and he could get on with campaigning on a great economy. Or, two, Trump and many others invested train cars full of money in the companies processing it, upon hearing that it might be an effective treatment. They knew they could use Trump as spokesman.
Number one seemed like the most obvious candidate at the very beginning of the outbreak. But the continued fascination, over and above a vaccine that both clearly works and is clearly safe, means that we are now leaning hard into number two and inventing a number three. Trump needs to be able to say he was right, so his disciples must push it.
Is there any other explanation for this quote from Rand Paul, from the Cincinnati Enquirer:
“The hatred for Trump deranged these people so much that they’re unwilling to objectively study it. So someone like me that’s in the middle on it, I can’t tell you because they will not study ivermectin. They will not study hydroxychloroquine without the taint of their hatred for Donald Trump.”
We know for a fact that there have been studies of hydroxychloroquine, aka “Cow Dewormer,” and they have been mostly inconclusive, one showed more people died on it than without it, and one showed it had some benefit for people in the ICU on ventilators.
It is possible that it’s not being studied because research money isn’t unlimited and they’d prefer to use research money to perfect the vaccines they already have, and make it more effective against the delta variant. The delta variant can get through people who’ve had Pfizer (ask me about it) but one just gets sick, and it sucks, but one is still protected enough that virtually no one goes to the hospital and in that sense, it’s totally effective. Perhaps the government would rather take that research money and perfect the vaccines against the variants that are coming out. We do it with the flu vaccine every year.
Regardless, “hatred for Trump” got itself some momentum and it started trending. That’s always useful.
My Hatred for Trump had me get my vaccine and when I'm sick I go to Rite Aid while Rand Paul passes up the pharmacy for the feed store for his treatments.

Hatred for Trump is just another gaslight.
Has anyone checked to see how much stock Rand Paul owns of ivermectin? 🤔

Precisely.

Rand Paul thinks it's "hatred for Trump" that is stopping any research into using Ivermectin as a treatment. Call me crazy but going from bleach to an animal dewormer advised by POLITICIANS doesn't exactly inspire confidence….#Truth2Voice

Hatred for Trump? Hard to believe that could be trending… what's to hate?

Rand Paul's crazy ass thinks Drs won't study Ivermectin as a treatment for Covid because of hatred for Trump. No Rand, they won't study it because it's fucking stupid.
