We get emails, daily, “Stop covering Trump! You are giving him what he wants!”

To which, we say, first of all, we see the numbers and it’s what readers want. Second, our readers are exactly right to want to read about the Trump family’s latest outrages. The Trumps already have a huge platform, it spreads throughout the Right, dissipating into their hollow heads. And especially since January 6th, as a matter of national security, it is critical that we on the left know exactly how they think, what he’s saying, and the danger they represent. Look at January 6th, look at the COVID situation. One cannot understand this country as it “is” right now without following the Trumps.

Just days ago, in an “America Last” move, one of the Trumps (this time, Junior) enjoyed slamming Biden, and by through Biden, the U.S. military, as weakening due to the fact that they have bought into diversity and looking at their past issues. To the Trumps that means “woke,” and there’s almost nothing lower to the Right than being awoken to the country’s past horrors. They take pride in remaining asleep.
