Christianity is an Abrahamic, monotheistic religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth. It is the world’s largest religion, with about 2.4 billion followers.[1] Its adherents, known as Christians, make up a majority of the population in 157 countries and territories,[2] and believe that Jesus is the Christ, whose coming as the Messiah was prophesied in the Hebrew Bible (called the Old Testament in Christianity) and chronicled in the New Testament.[3]
Emperor Constantine the Great decriminalized Christianity in the Roman Empire by the Edict of Milan (313), later convening the Council of Nicaea (325) where Early Christianity was consolidated into what would become the State church of the Roman Empire (380).

So that’s a pretty good-sized movement, one might actually say it’s the largest movement in all of history, and – one would be right, perhaps it got so big because it seems like, at least as originally intended, a movement centered around humility, giving, and forgiveness.
Trump is not known for humility, giving, or forgiveness. It has always been odd that his movement aligned so closely with what some call Christianity.
In Alabama on Saturday night, as Trump started to hit his climactic marks, he did – literally – call his MAGA movement the largest in history. This statement was cheered on by tens of thousands of people who, if you asked them, would call themselves Christians. Interestingly, they could – maybe – call themselves losers of the last election, despite having the “largest movement in history.” It just goes to prove that they are no longer listening to Trump, or at least have long since forgotten to think as they listen.
Good thing no one told them that the second-largest movement is Islam. Even if confined to American politics, the Trump movement is significantly smaller than the Hillary Clinton movement and the Biden movement. But again, they’re not there to think, only praise.
"This is the greatest rally in the history of our country. This is the greatest movement in the history of our country, there's never been anything like it."
