Feel absolutely free to laugh at the woman below and laugh at OAN’s failed attempt to demonstrate that the vaccine is harmful due to its magnetic properties. But we should also be furious that OAN would even entertain the idea of putting this woman on the air because, even though it’s a failed attempt, it’s another nod toward “we need to test out this vaccine as lay-people,” this is the sh*t that is keeping our ICUs full throughout the country.

Perhaps, if one of us is in a car accident and finds oneself – or their daughter – in a helicopter headed straight for a trauma E.R., it would be nice if that E.R. was not packed with overly tired nurses.

But nope. They put this shit on the air. Transcript by Rawstory:

Here’s some of the headlines,” began host Dan Ball. “There’s a lot of them out there, from the Miami Herald, BBC, Reuters, USA Today, all debunking it, saying that these social media folks that are putting it on are lying. It’s fake. There’s nothing, there’s no metal, no microchip, it’s all conspiracy theories — there’s no way that getting the shot would make your arm magnetic. So all the mainstream says there’s no way.”

“So I don’t know what to believe, because you hear me say all the time, I don’t believe in listening to the mainstream media, because they lie to us a lot or they spew a narrative,” he said

For reasons passing understanding, and in an attempt to lead a few dozen viewers to their death, they shift to Amelia Miller, who put out a video on social media purportedly showing that she had been magnetized by the vaccine. As you watch this, just know. Mississippi’s medical director has declared it a failed state and requires hospital beds placed in the garage. Even in Idaho, ICUs are full to the point they’re taking calls from Newport Oregon. Meanwhile, OAN puts this shit up.

Maybe it is not magnetized? Maybe people should get the fcking vaccine and start saving lives throughout the U.S.  We could’ve had a normal Fourth of July, instead we have hospitals packed with the “I don’t care, I am not becoming a magnet” types.

Thanks to Rawstory for also pointing us toward the funniest explanation as to why metal can – at times – stick to skin (friction, heat, some hydrogen bonding, same way that trees get water from the roots to the top of the tree).

OAN should be fined for putting shit like this on the air, even though it failed spectacularly. Unfortunately, it is very hard to fine cable companies.
