Two aspects of Melania Trump are rock-solid certain: 1) She believed she was entitled to everything she had, she had earned it and was special enough to be that special person, 2) Melania does want Melania wants. When she continued to hear that she was the modern Jackie Kennedy, what was she to do? Re-do the perfectly good Rose Garden and make it more amenable to high heels.

The Hill sets up the context, but we’re going to add some.  An important point is getting left out:

Former first lady Melania Trump fired back at a historian who criticized the renovations she made to the White House Rose Garden last year, calling his remarks “misleading” and “dishonorable” before questioning his credibility.

First, what do Beschloss’ “remarks” have to do with ruining the Rose Garden? And we think that Melania best rethink ever using the word “dishonorable” and NO, we are not talking about her possible “iffy” escort past, which might’ve been the most honorable honest work she ever did. We are talking about the dishonorable stuff she’s done ever since, especially in the White House, Ms. “I don’t Care, Do U?”

Second – and we might be the only ones pointing this out, but let’s just pretend for a moment, just pretend, that Melania actually redid the Rose Garden and it looked better, it was actually prettier, sustainable, all that. It would STILL BE WRONG.

There is value to keeping things historically as they were! The entire point is there was nothing “wrong” with the Rose Garden. Yes, it had drainage issues and it needed “work.” We trust that the best engineers available would’ve made the drainage work easily while keeping the historic Rose Garden the exact historic Rose Garden.

Let’s use one other example. What does the Washington Monument have to do with George Washington? Exactly nothing. Why is an Egyptian Obelisk our ode to our first president? And once one starts going down the Mason road, that’s an awfully deep rabbit hole. So why not change it? Why not build a real monument to George Washington? The answer is obvious, because it’s the Washington f’ing m0nument that’s why!! It is now historically important, even if it is kind of worthless as an actual monument to the actual man.

Please go back to dishonorable obscurity Melania, or go back to your honorable past:
