Actually, it is called the delta variant of the exact same virus, only this one is MORE virulent, more contagious, hits younger people, and has a higher mortality rate than the one Trump himself had under his responsibility, but Trump did such a terrible job in preparing the country, marshaling resources, and encouraging best medical practices, we ended up losing about 500,000 that can be directly attributed to Trump. The death toll now sits at close to 620,000.

But that is the point, he just entirely crossed himself trying to puff himself up. He had so little idea as to what he was talking about that people were left speechless.

“If that were me, they would say ‘what a horrible thing, what a horrible job.’ These are numbers in some cases that are equivalent to what it was, but we don’t hear that.”

Critics were quick to note that the former president did little during the early days of COVID-19 which led to over 600,000 deaths as his administration bungled the response — in sharp contrast to the pro-active work being done by President Joe Biden’s administration.

Rawstory misses the point. Trump is saying “they have new names for it now” – yes, it’s called delta, and it is much stronger and easier to catch. And yet Trump somehow mumbled it in a way to make HIS failures sure to look just as bad, like he lost the ability to even track how to make himself look good.
