In a report earlier this morning, we had said that liberals like to say – at times – that “Evolution Is Over,” at least with respect to humanity, the animals and plants can and will go at it as always. We will not let the “survival of the fittest” be our guide. Well, we’re learning that sometimes there’s really only so much one can do, especially when a country can make survival itself political.

Yes, in St. Louis, some guy named Charlie Bullington owns Yo Transportation services, a cab business he started 16 years ago. How he, or the cab company, survived to this point is anyone’s guess. Maybe survival of the fittest doesn’t necessarily apply to capitalism as much as advertised. Burlington recently made it company policy that his cabs will not transport passengers who are vaccinated or wearing masks.

According to Channel 4 in St. Louis:

“We don’t allow any type of masks in our vehicles, the second one is we are very against the vaccine and don’t allow people in our vehicle that did get the vaccine,” Bullington said.

Bullington said he verifies his passengers have not been vaccinated and won’t be wearing a mask before he even picks them up. One man took to Facebook saying he was denied a ride because of his vaccination status.

“I understand Missouri is one of the top three states with the lowest vaccination rate, so I am proud of all the Missouri people for standing against this,” Bullington said.

And many of us would be proud to disqualify ourselves two times over, three if you count the fact that Pfizer and Moderna require two shots. Of course, we would disqualify the cab company, too, because if the owner is that willing to risk lives over something that dangerous, who says the breaks have been looked at recently? Has the driver had more than three days of experience, total, driving a car?
