One has to watch politics awfully closely to remember the scandal set off on Fox when Obama wore the “tan suit.” No, we’re not kidding, and no, it wasn’t a huge thing, but Obama was so clean on other issues that things like the “coffee salute” and the “golfing” (which was then eclipsed by a factor of four or five by Trump), were the “scandals,” were pretty close to all they had.

What Fox News never did mention was that Obama wore his “tan suit” in the middle of summer (lightweight, perfectly styled, beautiful) and that he wore it shortly before he went on vacation. If there was ever a time. Well, Fox thought it wasn’t presidential and thus an issue. It was, in short, quite ridiculous.

So why wouldn’t Biden go right back at them, right at the same time of year, just as beautiful a suit, to give them the old Irish ffffinger so to speak, let them know that he’s sharp enough to know how to get into their heads?

Yep, as put by Mediaite:

On Friday morning, the president emerged into the East Room to deliver remarks on the stellar July jobs report, as well as to soberly urge Americans to be vigilant and get vaccinated against the coronavirus.

But on Twittter, media figures, journalists, and other verified users — including some Biden officials — went gaga over the suit, which brough flashbacks of former President Barack Obama’s notorious “scandal.”

We aren’t sure if Fox is going to take the bait, what we do know is that Twitter sure did:
