Whenever one thinks that Laura Ingraham or her buddy Tucker Carlson cannot possibly get lower, they prove all of us ever so naively wrong. On a day when the officers’ testimony had congressional representatives in tears, to say nothing of the people at home or the families of the victims, Laura Ingraham decides that she’s going full political in response and mocks the people telling their personal stories.
This is not playtime, Laura. Even if you cynically didn’t believe the direct testimony, there is video camera footage of the utter chaos, violence, and suffering. Would you like your son on the receiving end of it, Laura? Or is your family above it all? As we reported earlier today, anyone who doesn’t well up with emotion over what these officers went through isn’t “thinking hard enough.”
We were wrong. Laura is thinking plenty hard. She is just thinking hard about how to minimize the obvious gut-punch impact. Speaking of one’s gut, Laura’s has never been tested.
It’s awfully easy to be brave sitting behind a desk in a television studio.
This is said with the full realization it is easy to be brave sitting behind a keyboard. The difference is, that we at this site know we’re not brave enough to do what these officers did.
Laura cannot bring herself to even consider the reality:

It would otherwise seem impossible, would it not? Laura is paid millions to say that shit, and there’s a word for a person (we aren’t confining this to women) who will do anything for money. S*x workers make a far more honest living than Laura, who cannot do anything honestly.
But we do wonder what goes through the camera operator’s mind, the one working for $60,000 a year, about the same as a Capitol Hill cop, hearing Laura spew that kind of shit.
Actually, we wonder how anyone can hear this type of stuff and not fly into a rage.
