Dr. Ronnie Jackson, now Representative Ronnie Jackson needs to remember how people treated him with deference when he first came out with Trump’s physical. He was taken soberly, seriously, and believed (for the most part). From CNN:

Dr. Ronny Jackson, the presidential physician, gushed about President Donald Trump’s health during a briefing before the White House press corps on Tuesday, touting the President’s “good genes,” how he did “exceedingly well” on his cognitive test and his “excellent” cardiac health.

It was only afterward, well afterward, that we heard the stories. Trump nominated Jackson to head the Veterans Administration, and that meant an investigation, it did not go well:

The move comes after Jackson, a Navy rear admiral, withdrew his nomination for secretary of veterans affairs following a string of allegations that included he loosely handled prescription pain medications, was intoxicated during an overseas trip, and created a toxic work environment. Jackson has denied the allegations.

After withdrawing his nomination, it was clear from the allegations that Jackson was not going back to the White House, and after that run, any other position would seem like a step-down. Unless he ran for Congress as the ultimate MAGA, and so he did.

When we say “ultimate MAGA” we mean one that is going well beyond political criticism. He still wants to don his stethoscope, especially when it comes to Biden’s health and, in particular, his mental acuity.

That is not fair. That’s not fair at all. That is so far across the line as to what’s appropriate, as to either a physician or especially a congressman, it’s almost sanctionable. How dare he?

It wouldn’t matter, but we are talking about the man who might well have some experience in dispensing stimulants to presidents. The rumors were always out there. This site always chose to reiterate, no one could really know what was going on. But if Jackson needed some pictures of a president who could be up and could be down, he needed only look at the morning that began with the Prayer Breakfast in Washington DC looking like a drugged elephant and then later giving a speech looking so bright and shiny it was almost like one could see white coming out of his nose (no, that was a different speech).

Trump is irrelevant. Ronny Jackson should not be speculating as to Biden’s health even though that’s situation normal on Fox these days. It is outrageous as Jackson gives the subject the imprimatur of legitimacy. He needs to butt out or be called out by the AMA and lose his license. It is offensive, and not the least because Biden is ten times more cogent and appropriate than Trump.
