We cover Trump and the MAGAs because they’re dangerous, very dangerous. Last night, Trump said that had Pence had just a “bit more courage” Trump would still be president. That is a call for a lone wolf if there ever was one.

We also cover Trump so that you don’t have to. Sometimes there are moments that are worth it. For the same reason that perhaps you watch Olympic kayaking, it’s entertaining and you never know when one is going to have a bad accident.

But the single most entertaining part of Trump’s speech last night was the WWE introduction, “Ladies and Gentleman, the 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trruuuuuumppp. Over the sound system, “Have you missed me yet?” Do they want a real answer? We miss the entertainment, and so we wanted to be sure that you did not. See below, “beyond parody” is right.

And then there was this, which is going around Twitter hard this morning because no one really knows what he is saying. Yes, he’s talking about audits but then trails off into something completely indecipherable.

Should Kamala Harris Run for President in 2028?

Don’t ask us. Something about it being only the beginning, that the auditors and then something something something. Yes, he is still referencing 2020 and will until he dies. There will be recounts of 2020 going into 2024. Indeed, the single biggest thing that might cost him a renomination (never mind election) in 2024 might be that he won’t shut up about 2020.

Notice how gaunt and pink he looks? He’s no longer “Orange man bad,” it’s much more pink now, puffing. He doesn’t look to be in good health at all. Damn shame.

So people had some thoughts to share:

Yeah, it was awful, but awfully entertaining, ICYMI!
