We recently learned that Donald Trump Jr. and his girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle had sold their Hamptons pad for a huge $8.14 million profit after purchasing it for roughly half that amount, $4.495 million, in 2019.
According to the Daily Mail, the pair has purchased a new home for $9.7 million, which is located just across the block from former President Donald Trump’s Florida Mar-a-Lago property, where he has been residing since leaving the White House in January.
The move by Kim and Jr. appears to be part of a larger effort by the Trump family to relocate their origins from the New York/Washington area to Florida, where they hope to be better accepted.
According to the article, their new home is an 11,000-square-foot mansion with six bedrooms and 11 bathrooms in Admirals Cove, an exclusive gated enclave in Jupiter approximately 20 miles from Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago property.
In addition to the home’s high price, the couple will have to pay a $195,000 membership fee to have access to Admirals Cove’s marina, golf course, and tennis courts. The Admirals Cove is home to a number of well-known figures, but the story alleges that some of the area’s “ritzy residents” aren’t overjoyed about the idea of new neighbors.
According to the Palm Beach Post, over 30 residents of Admirals Cove have contacted general management to express their concerns about the upcoming couple. Some residents have expressed security worries, while others have expressed objection to the couple’s political ideals. One local has even reportedly described Kim and Jr.’s impending move as a “nightmare.”
The price tag on the Trump/Guilfoyle home may appear exorbitant, but it pales in comparison to the staggering $30 million price tag on the Trump/Guilfoyle residence. Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump visited their “Billionaire Bunker” property in Florida recently, and they weren’t exactly greeted with open arms either.
