As we reported yesterday, after being turned down at three private locations, companies that have no obligation to allow anyone to use their facilities, Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor-Greene were forced to choose an option that had to allow them to speak under the First Amendment, a government-owned facility.

Yes, Riverside, California had no choice but to host the event in their city hall.

As we said yesterday, no one should blame the many fantastic people in Riverside. Given that their city hall had held political speeches in the past, it is not like they could do anything about the appearance.

But those same California residents were certainly not obligated to go to the event and they did a wonderful job in humiliating Gaetz and Taylor-Greene by steering clear, depriving them of attention.

The low turnout had to humiliate the two hosts who seem to have no self-awareness as to why they are despised and keep getting turned down.

As would be expected, Gaetz lied his disgusting ass off, while also making a strong case for inciting violence. Here is the big lie, and the incitement comes in the video in which he demands that people take to the streets to fight.

Right, buddy. If the Republicans, Trump or not, win the next one, Gaetz is likely not going to be around to vote or participate. Given that this isn’t stopping either one of them, Twitter simply fell over laughing, while some grew very concerned by what they see as the ever-increasing incitement:

Even this crowd, the crowd that showed up at a moment's notice, didn't respond to Gaetz's strange idea that America is "becoming Cuba."

Perhaps if you can't even get a crowd like this to react to something you're saying, you might be way off the deep end of nonsense.

Yes, the idea that the U.S. is becoming communist is one of the most bizarre tactics now becoming a MAGA staple. But it is also one of the strongest charges to get their people in the streets.
