Yet again:
Stochastic Terr*rism
The public demonization of a person or group, resulting in the incitement of a violent act, which is statistically probable but whose specifics cannot be predicted:
Example: The lone-wolf attack was apparently influenced by the rhetoric of stochastic terr*rism.

As of yet, we have yet to see an example of the lone wolf or stochastic terr*rism that is, again above, statistically speaking, now probable post-Trump’s presidency. January 6th doesn’t count because that was very much planned and specific. Obviously, this is very good news. But the MAGA beliefs, incited by Trump and his acolytes in Congress, about “cancel culture,” “censorship,” and even the big lie, continues to be a major danger to the country. No one knows when or where the lone wolf will strike.
The exception, of course, is when those would-be criminals are caught and charged ahead of time. We often hear that people only hear about law enforcement’s failures – like January 6th – and never the successes. There is some truth to that which we intend to remedy.
Two men who were planning to bomb Facebook and Twitter were caught and charged, according to The Verge:
Two California residents have been indicted for allegedly planning to firebomb the offices of California’s Democratic governor in Sacramento after the 2020 election, and had also discussed bombing Facebook and Twitter, federal court records show.
The pair, who were indicted on conspiracy charges as well as illegal possession of firearms and explosives, were part of an anti-government militia with a strong pro-Trump agenda called the Three Percenters. The conspirators’ texts alluded that their planned actions would send a message to tech companies like Facebook and Twitter days after they banned Trump from their platforms.
At times it feels inevitable that one or more will succeed. The more these people hear about people caught before an attempt, the more likely it is that some will give up the idea. There is no point in getting arrested for something that won’t send a message. That is everyone’s hope, at least.
