It seems like we spend most days covering the increasingly dangerous far-right movement, as is proper.

It is increasingly dangerous.

It is so dangerous that even with Trump plummeting in ratings, it is still shockingly true that nearly every GOP politician must bow to his wishes. This, with the help of Joe Manchin, might result in the end of legitimate elections for a long time, too long.

January 6th has become effectively whitewashed and has now come full circle, it is now used as a weapon by the MAGAs. This small minority, 30% or so, represents a huge danger.

But now the good news. Even that minority is plummeting and by sheer numbers alone, it means that if the trend continues, the politicians can no longer afford to stand by the MAGAs.

Trump was at 43% approval prior to the election. In January, he was at 40%, now 100 days after Biden’s swearing-in, (Approx. according, to NBC) Trump has plummeted to 32% favorable and 55% unfavorable.

To lose 11% points is a massive loss in a country that is far too close to 50-50 is flirting with a political cliff.

We have yet to reach true revelations about possible crimes, no investigation yet into January 6th, but it will get there. It is somewhat a race for time, determined work to get to the polls, and good police work.

But this is outstanding news and very much needed on a day like today.
