We have become newly wary of even covering any disputes about a president’s cognitive abilities. It seems as though everything is tit for tat nowadays.
Even when we did cover Trump’s issues – and he had many – every single time, we noted that no one could diagnose whether any specific problem existed without a physical exam, including lab work and random drug screens (He lies like he breathes, he would need random ones to be confirmed).
We also noticed tics, with his right arm, undeniable, along with a lagging gait. But we refused to say that they meant anything with respect to performing his job.
But there are two aspects of his behavior and presidency that now deserve very serious scrutiny in order to prevent future issues.
It is fair to now ask was anything covered up? Because whether he did or did not have cognitive issues now is irrelevant. It is entirely relevant as to how might have participated, how, and why, if there were aspects covered up.
Even over this last weekend, he retold the story about “Acing” the exam. This is concerning on two levels. First, we know he was rushed to the hospital in October of 2019, for treatment that was never satisfactorily explained. Second, rather out of the blue, in mid-2020, he started to talk about a cognitive test that the “aced.”
It is legitimate to ask why one would be given a cognitive test. (We are talking about a possible second one in mid-2020 after the rush to the hospital, not Dr. Jackson’s original test). They are only meant to determine if there might be an issue. The very fact that he admits he (seemingly) just passed a cognitive test begs the question, why was a test given so recently. And, of course, whether people are involved that knew of issues that arose (even temporary ones) and then covered anything up going into the 2020 election.
On Sunday, he once again told the story (repeating the same story over and over is a sign of issues in some contexts). Now Twitter is demanding to know whether he’s actually covering something up:

I’d be concerned about this “we did it and we aced it”, whose the we? He has a history of paying people to take tests and also paying to have results changed. https://t.co/S3Sto2bfHJ

Seems to me, if you're repeating the same story 500 times, perhaps you're not as cognitive as you think? 🤔

We really deserve to know the entirety of the medical history, especially the real answer to the question as to why he was rushed to the hospital in October of 2019.
