There was a brief moment in time, maybe a full week, ten days, when rational people thought we had all put everything Trump behind us. He and the movement finally went so far that there would be no coming back. It was dead, it took its own life over about six hours. Social media confirmed it, he was truly “canceled” for good reason and all but 10% of Americans would reject him forever.

We were so ridiculously stupid and naive. The GOP will cover up everything, whitewash anything, have no shame about anything, and will do whatever it takes to keep their largest segment of voters happy and keep party over country.

After the Republicans voted down even a neutral investigation into what January 6th, the effort was near complete. But, of course, with Trump it is never enough. Just like the assertion that he “won” turned into “I won in a landslide,” Trump is now taking the lead to declare that January 6th was filled with “so much love.”

Trump then turned to the latest conspiracy theory:

“Who is the person who shot an innocent, wonderful, incredible woman? Who shot Ashli Babbitt? People want to know. And why?” “I’ve heard also that it was the head of security for a certain high official. A Democrat. It’s gonna come out.”

Why she was shot is on video. She was not “innocent,” or “wonderful,” she became a threat to the lives just on the other side of the door and had been warned and warned. But because she loved Trump while being so dangerous, she’s now a beautiful person.

Now even the shooting is politicized, a Democrat’s security official shot a beautiful loving person.

Who fired the gun is the only detail that MAGAs care about. With respect to the rest of the riot, they are aggressive in preventing any investigation. The only part worth investigating – in their minds – is how one “Democrat” went against them.

Trump is Trump and it will never be enough. Watch, he will soon talk about the rioters in jail as “political prisoners,” they are beautiful people kept by Biden and the Biden administration only because they love Trump. It is never enough and it’s the next logical step.
