Someday, it is likely that everyone will put an asterisk beside everything about 2020. Whether it be athletic championships, proms, tests, even expired drivers’ licenses, nothing will be normal, it’ll all be the “COVID Year.” For all too many, 2020 will also be the mark on their gravestone.

Other than the changes to the medical community and the families of the sick, the biggest changes occurred in the economy. Toilet paper became the new bitcoin. For the first time in memory, shelves were half empty. People lost their jobs, couldn’t pay mortgages, car payments, and spent the entire time – fighting for money – worrying about getting sick.

Of course, the cost of many goods went down, none more so than gasoline. No one needed any. The price plummeted. Now, somehow, Trump’s biggest – and dumbest – sycophants are trying to utilize Trump’s biggest failure as a victory. Gas prices were low! Watch Lauren Boebert put her Mediterranean climate IQ on display in her latest tweet:

We don’t like to give Lauren a bad time about dropping out of high school because that’s not fair. Some people have few good choices. But this is one instance when a little education might have gone a long way.
