Sometimes the irony of the Trump age seems intent on putting us six feet under, lack of oxygen, laughing too hard. After all, we on the left, are supposed to be the “snowflakes” unable to take even the slightest “slight,” offended by everything, always whining, it’s accepted fact on the Right.

But the real snowflakes are the MAGAs. It is hardly their fault, though. (Actually, a lot of it is their fault. But go with it). They are merely copying their leader. Has there ever been a president that uttered the phrase, “It is so unfair!” more often than snowman Trump? “Snowman Trump,” might be a good nickname, the same punchy tissue, same body shape, glistens with moisture in the heat. That nickname it might be worth copyrighting. CopyRight, owner of Political Flare.

We digress. The MAGA snowflakes are all worked up about the fact that our beautiful First Lady is on the cover of this month’s Vogue. Well, it’s about time, given that every man on the left who is over 25 has an insane crush on Jill and appreciates her beauty inside and out, just as do the women on the Left. If we ever gave the women on the Right truth serum, we suspect we’d find that they like Jill more than Melania, too. We DO NOT judge women by their beauty, but that certainly doesn’t mean that we can’t cry out that Jill looks drop-dead gorgeous on the cover:

She is stunning, a lot like the owner of this website. Call it a draw, especially near the end of the month.

But this is all so unfair! The MAGAs are mad! After all, Melania, the top fashion model, was never featured on the cover of Vogue!!

We want to defend Vogue here a bit. First, note that Jill is smiling? A smile seems important and we suspect that Melania’s face might have cracked if she’d tried smiling, which she wouldn’t try anyway. Indeed, Melania was actually very pretty as a very young woman before she convinced plastic surgeons to sew her face into that model-like glare she flashes so naturally. Oh, and – not to rub it in, but Michelle Obama was on three Vogue covers. Eat that, MAGAs. Smiles are important. Michelle was born both beautiful and smiling, the same as Jill.

Another point and this is subtle, the MAGAs say it’s all political, that Vogue wouldn’t put Melania on the cover for political reasons. This is a ridiculous argument. Of course, Vogue left Melania off the cover for political reasons! Someone, please tell the MAGAs that Vogue is under no obligation to be politically neutral and had every right to keep Melania off the cover because they didn’t want to validate Trumpism. Eat it, yellow snowflakes.

We will tell you another secret. Laura Bush was on the cover of Ladies Home Journal and People. Given that People is the widest circulated magazine on earth, that’s pretty damned impressive. Laura Bush was also a wonderful woman (separate her from her husband, we loved Laura), proving that magazine covers are not necessarily left-right things, only great people versus mean girl things.

But ohhh, are the MAGAs mad, Rachel Campos-Duffy (Mother of Nine!) is furious:

Who, the fck, is Campos-Duffy to say that suburban grandmothers can’t be “hot” and attractive! Even us younger guys recognize that beauty is timeless! And given that Campos-Duffy is likely to have over 30 grandchildren, she might want to STFU. Actually, she should STFU anyway.

Oh, never mind! We don’t want to put any MAGA stuff up, it’s all as ugly as Jill is beautiful, who is as beautiful as the owner of this website Jill, thank you for proving that “suburban” grandmothers in floral dresses” can show-up runway models any day of the week. We know who we’d rather date.
