Former President Donald Trump has a new spokesperson who was in a fiery mood during an interview on The Water Cooler podcast, lambasting former Attorney General William Barr for “sweeping” election fraud allegations “under the rug,” and therefore placing America at risk due to President Joe Biden’s “illegitimate” election.

Liz Harrington is taking over where serial liar Jason Miller, Trump’s former spokesperson, left off, With the usual bombast one might expect from anyone associated with Trump, telling host David Brody that with Joe Biden as president, “our country is in dire peril right now.”

But she really got all wound up talking about Barr, who was recently interviewed by Jonathan Karl, Raw Story reports. Barr painted a less-than-flattering portrait of the ex-president as a delusion-riddled narcissist who spent his last days being completely obsessed with “bullsh*t” election fraud conspiracies.

“Bill Barr was too weak to pursue the truth and went along with the swamp,” Harrington told Brody. “They let this happen! People like Bill Barr and [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell  (R-Ky.), they swept all this under the rug just like every other wrongdoing by Democrats for the past four years of the Trump administration.”

Harrington described Barr as a “useful tool” for the swamp and claimed “We’re going to get to the truth because we have to. This is about saving America.”

She also defended the Capitol insurrectionists and claimed that although they conducted a “peaceful protest,” the government is going to their homes.

“This is not America and this is why President Trump says we can’t wait until 2024,” Harrington said. “We have to act now to save the country.”

It’s hard to beat Trump’s former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany when it comes to lying, but it sure looks like Harrington is trying. Bill Barr really was a weak attorney general, but not for the reasons she’s suggesting. He acquiesced to everything Trump wanted and like the former vice president, Mike Pence had the backbone of a wet noodle.

Seriously. Where does Trump find these people?
