It is not the first time that Jim Jordan has obstructed a very legitimate investigation. Most people know. Jordan was an assistant coach for the wrestling team at Ohio State (After being a legend). He knew that a doctor abused young men. The wrestlers were over eighteen, the problem was the power disparity between the doctor and the wrestler abused. Additionally, there may have been some force involved. Ohio State did not want the news out there.
Jordan knew and begged witnesses to stay quiet. He knows about obstructing very legitimate investigations and he’s damn well ready to obstruct another one.
The Select Committee requested that he cooperate with the Committee and come in and testify. He refused. He will need to be subpoenaed and he will likely refuse again, appealing, appealing.
He will say that it’s a partisan witch hunt and that’s why he’s refusing. If you would like to read a portion without reading the long letter below:
Jim Jordan declines Jan. 6 Select Committee’s request for “voluntary cooperation.” In letter, Jordan calls request “far outside the bounds of any legitimate inquiry,” has “no confidence that the Select Committee will fairly or accurately represent any information I could provide.”
Then ask that your testimony be done in public. You will be accommodated. Additionally, you had a chance, along with every other Republican, to have a 50-50 committee with equal subpoena power. You voted it down. Do not tell us about representing your testimony fairly. We hasten a guess that many of the questions asked would be answered with: Upon the advice of my counsel, I choose to invoke my 5th Amendment Right to not answer that question.

Blah, blah, blah.
We have no proof. None. But we strongly believe that there are members of Congress that know that other members of Congress helped set up January 6th.
Never, ever, forget. Jordan wanted to help get the “Ladies” out of the chamber and Liz Cheney did not let her touch him, “You fcking did this!”
We have no proof. But we think members of Congress know far more about what went on that day than they are allowed to say on camera because they have no direct proof, either, but do know.
Of course, Jordan would refuse to cooperate.
