Joe Biden gave a speech that the American public needed to hear today. People needed to be reminded, unapologetically, that there is one person responsible for what happened in the Capitol that day. Of course, there are thousands that chose to be there, but only one that planned something unprecedented in the first place.

Biden called that person, Donald Trump, out by name, something that his attorney general did not yesterday in what was a thoroughly inadequate speech. Biden’s was more than adequate and that is why Trump had to respond.

Trump, in a statement released just as Biden wrapped up his speech in Statuary Hall, called the remarks “political theater.” As opposed to an octagon caged ring, as Trump prefers.

“This political theater is all just a distraction for the fact Biden has completely and totally failed.”

The irony is that Biden has gotten far more done than even we hear about because so much has focused on the battle with voting rights and build back better.

It’s because they don’t have the answers or justifications for what happened. They got away with something, and it is leading to our Country’s destruction. They want all conversation concerning the Election ‘Canceled.'”

The above paragraph is the most-perfect description of the Republican party’s response to the January 6th riots ever mad.

As we said, Biden bit, hard:

“He’s not just a former president, he’s a defeated former president,” Defeated by a margin of over 7 million of your votes, and a full and free and fair election. There is simply zero proof the election results were inaccurate.”

Biden has earned the right to rub it in a little.
