I have been authorized by the Department of Justice to confirm that the FBI, as part of our counterintelligence mission, is investigating the Russian government’s efforts to interfere in the 2016 presidential election and that includes investigating the nature of any links between individuals associated with the Trump campaign and the Russian government and whether there was any coordination between the campaign and Russia’s efforts. As with any counterintelligence investigation, this will also include an assessment of whether any crimes were committed.

The sheer nerve of these people.

Over the last week, a huge window has opened into just how far the Trump administration was willing to go – or at least considered going – in order to stay in office despite knowing (that word is so critical, they all know he lost, with the possible exception of Trump, who is too mentally-ill to accept that he could possibly lose), they all KNEW that Trump lost, and yet considered having the National Guard called out in a National Emergency to “hand count” ballots. Some kind of conspiracy went deep enough that the Vice President did not trust the Secret Service, a big sign that something is very wrong in your government.

This has all just come out in the last week. The next week promises more. We will continue to get more and more information about who did what in an attempt to circumvent the will of the American people and “install” Trump as the American dictator.

And yet, somehow, Trump’s spokesperson found the wherewithal to go on television today and say it is “Hillary” who is a threat to democracy through “rigged elections.” Please don’t ask us how it was that they brought Hillary up because we have no idea:
