It was some time ago, in fact several months ago, that we read that the Select Committee subpoenaed phone records coming from the Capitol on January 6th which… of course they did. Those phone calls might well establish the network as to who was in charge of what regarding the actual rioters. Of course, tucked in and amongst those calls would be the calls coming from members of Congress.

That seems to worry some people. A lot.

Obtaining the phone records from some members of Congress over some rather random three-month period might well be a fishing expedition and would certainly be something that would raise serious privacy concerns. But this is not that. It would be malpractice for anyone charged with investigating January 6th (and the organization leading to it) to not subpoena those records.

No one is doing it to expose an affair. They are not going to care about personal stuff to use as blackmail. For one thing, they don’t even have the time to do such a dirty trick.

What they do have is the pressing duty to figure out who was calling the shots that day, who was talking to who about the actual attack. It is not surprising to us that some of the most vociferous and ferocious objections come from one of the representatives most associated with possible collusion with the rioters, Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Again, the announcement regarding the subpoena came out months ago. Out of the blue, we have this comment from Marjorie, today:

Should Kamala Harris Run for President in 2028?

Democrats must pay a steep price? That sounds like a real deal threat, with no justification (And Republicans were more than invited to participate, and two are on the committee). It almost sounds to us like Marj does plan on attempting to get three months of random records to hold over Democrats’ heads for personal reasons.

So… why is Marj so “personally” worried about the records from January 6th? Because they have hers? Quite possibly. And why would that concern or worry her? It might be, in part, due to this. Regular readers know we continue to publish this, over and over, because it says so much, and has largely been forgotten:

Note the video below:

Perhaps we will find out why Marj doesn’t want her call history scrutinized.
