Yesterday, we reported that Peter Doocy noted that President Biden sounded a little croaky during his statement on employment figures and Russia. He told President Biden that his voice sounded different and asked if President Biden was okay.

“I’m okay. I have a test every day to — covid test,” Biden explained. “What I have is a 1 1/2-year-old grandson who had a cold who likes to kiss his pop and he has been kissing me anyway. But it is just a cold.”

People get colds, especially people who are around little kids a lot because little kids lick their hands, spit on things, and basically act as walking – sorta talking – petri dishes. If President Biden was sick beyond just a cold, there is not a chance in hell that the White House and his aides have had him out there at the statement-press conference. The Right is always ready to pounce on his health…

Peter asked an entirely fair question. The president’s health is the nation’s business, never more so than when there are 100,000 Russian troops massed on Ukraine’s border, as there are right now. But everyone recognizes a raspy voice as most often indicative of just a cold. President Biden didn’t seem weak or “off” at all.

And yet that was enough for Peter. As we often report, Peter asks questions that contain the answer he needs because he then uses that question – not so much the answer, on segments later in the day, especially on Hannity or Tucker.

Last night Doocy and Hannity talked about President Biden’s voice and – while president Hannity admits that he’s not a doctor, he didn’t think it sounded like a… cold.
